We offer support and counselling to anyone
who has experienced a bereavement at any time in their lives – including
suicide, miscarriage and termination. After someone dies, you may experience
natural feelings such as numbness, sadness, anger or feeling unable
to cope. It is also common to have difficulties with eating, sleeping,
poor concentration, headaches and other physical symptoms. These emotions
and physical symptoms can sometimes be overwhelming.
It
can help to speak to someone who will listen without judging.

We have produced an information sheet
based on what bereaved people have told us about some of their
experiences, to read it: Click here

We offer counselling and support to people facing life-changing
illness and also to their carers, family and friends. When our health
is threatened, or we require treatment or surgery for serious conditions,
we naturally feel anxious and may find it hard to cope with our emotions.
Relatives and friends may also have worries and fears and feel they
need support.
It
can help to speak to someone during this potentially traumatic
time; someone who can listen and empathise.

We have counsellors who specialise in working with children, young
people and families. „

We also have counsellors who work with people with learning disabilities,
and their carers.
