Moving into adulthood in itself can be very stressful and confusing and additional emotions brought on by a death or significant loss at this time can make everything feel overwhelming.

Our counsellors work openly with young people, without judging, to help them express how they are feeling about what is happening in their world.

Counselling sessions are completely confidential. The young person can choose to include appropriate adults in their sessions if needed and our counsellors can facilitate the young person in sharing their feelings with others in a safe and confidential environment.

Young people who refer to us are given the opportunity to decide where they would like counselling to take place and generally anyone over the age of 14 can self-refer.

We are also able to provide free at the point of delivery counselling, training and support to 10 – 18 year olds in schools and clubs in the Stoke-on-Trent area due to funding from the Big Lottery.
