At the Dove Service we know that one of the biggest cause of problems for the staff in any organisation is bereavement, significant loss, and issues around life-changing/limiting illnesses, which results in stress, anxiety, and other mental health issues. We strongly believe that spending time and money on employee well-being is a clear demonstration of an organisations’ duty of care to its employees.
We understand that it can be difficult for employers to identify when an employee is experiencing feelings associated with bereavement and loss, and even harder to know how to support that person. We want to ensure that managers, staff and volunteers are provided with training, support and counselling, which supports their well-being.
The Dove Service works in partnership with local employers across the region to provide counselling, awareness raising and training to support the emotional health and wellbeing of our communities. We can also offer group support sessions for staff following an employee death or other traumatic incident.
Our rates for employee assistance packages are highly competitive and can be bespoke to your organisation. If you would like to talk to a member of our team about putting training or counselling in place in your organisation please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01782 683155.
We offer counselling to employees of Stoke-on-Trent city council to help with a wide range of issues. If you work for Stoke-on-Trent City Council you can refer yourself by calling us on 01782 683155 and speaking to a member of our counselling team.
