Stoke-on-Trent Festival of Running – Lee Parrish

Massive thank you to our supporter, Lee Parrish, who raised funds for the Dove Service by running in the ‘Stoke-On-Trent Festival of Running Half Marathon’ on Sunday 15th July 2018.  Lee was really tested by the intense hot weather on the day of the race, however he overcame the heat to finish the race in a fantastic time of 1 hour and 51 minutes – well done Lee!  Lee raised a total amount of £259.05 for our charity and for this we are extremely grateful.

We managed to catch up with Lee during his preparations for the race …

“The Dove Service was a big factor because I find fundraising for a charity that you  know, or especially family and friends who have been involved in the organisation,  more personal and drives us on to raise as much as possible for a great cause”.

Holy Trinity Church Eccleshall

A huge thank you to Holy Trinity Church Eccleshall who organised a charity auction evening at Eccleshall Cricket Club on 29th September 2017.  Funds were raised  for Holy Trinity Church and the Dove Service.
