The Dove Service has been successful in gaining funding from Children in Need to run a Children & Young People’s (C&YP) project across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire. This funding enables us to work with C&YP aged 4+ and the professionals who support them offering training, counselling, and peer mentor groups within community settings. The project commenced on 1st April 2015 and will run for 3 years (until 31st March 2018).
A part time vacancy has arisen due to the high demand for services. The successful applicant requires self-motivation and the ability to manage their own workload. They must be able to provide time focused counselling/therapeutic support to C&YP from the ages of 4 to 18.
The post is based at The Dudson Centre, Hope Street, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, seeing a minimum of three clients per week.
